Mike Flanagan's latest horror film, which bears all the hallmarks of the director's signature style. The story is based on the 1839 novel of the same name by famous writer Edgar Allan Poe, with a twist, of course. The Fall of the Usher House follows the CEO of a corrupt pharmaceutical company and his family, who is forced to confront his dark past when his children die one by one under increasingly mysterious circumstances.
The horror series brought surprisingly good reviews to Netflix, which can be attributed to the director's previous works that were also huge hits, such as The Ghost of the Hill House or Mass at Midnight. The horror series achieved a total of six million views in its first week, making it the most-watched English-language fantasy show on Netflix that week.
