Real-time strategy games aren’t very popular these days, but revamped editions of the Age of Empires trilogy (especially Part Two) prove that RTS fans will still buy pieces from the AoE series. Age of Empires 4 is also coming, but we hardly know anything about it, despite it being announced 4 years ago. But in April, the news and information torpedo can finally begin
Accompanied by a relaxing epic preview, Microsoft / Xbox announced that the Fan Preview event is coming on April 10, focusing on Part 4. We can expect a broadcast of around 30 minutes, which can be followed on official channels (Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, AgeofEmpires.com) . Civilizations, campaign and gameplay will also be featured during the event. In addition to Age of Empires 4, Parts 2 and 3 will be on the table, which means something new will be announced for them as well. The fan preview starts at 5 pm Hungarian time.
The time will also come for that because Age of Empires 4 was announced at Gamescom 2017 and released with great difficulty two years later as part of the Xbox XO19 event. Despite the little information, it is said that there is a chance that a sequel to the RTS series will appear in 2021
