Netflix's cancellation rate has nearly tripled in the US, as supporters of former President Donald Trump called for a boycott of the streaming giant after its CEO sent Harris a donation, Bloomberg reports.
The newspaper noted that last July, American consumers canceled their Netflix subscriptions at a higher rate than usual, and in the five-day period following Hastings Harris' support, an “unusually” large number of cancellations occurred.
