There are moments and points in human history when it is possible to recognize the influence of civilizations on each other. Or experts go to great lengths to prove that each civilization had a similar worldview (similar pyramids) and had similar knowledge of the world. The writings of the late archaeologist David H. The Harvard-educated scientist wrote his theory decades ago, but it was also published posthumously in a scientific journal not long ago.
Kelly's point was that the Mesoamerican and Eurasian calendars showed great similarity, meaning that these civilizations met very early in space and time, so that today's official contact dates, accepted by the scientific world, may be wrong. These cultures, Kelly said, were in contact with each other across the ocean.
But he's not the only scientist who's already drawn attention to the similarities between the calendars.
