Csónakázó-tó is also a popular spot for young people, families with young children and retirees. Some people come to walk their dogs, others come to the playground with their grandchildren, but there are also those who think more improvements are needed around the lake.
Despite the stormy weather, many people spent their free time at the boating lake on Tuesday afternoon. Some came to train, others came for ice cream and a walk. As we discovered, the majority visit regularly, saying that this is the only place in Kanizsa where they can relax. In this regard, Istvan Havasi told our staff that the facilities around the lake are not really used, but he often visits with his dog.
“Children come here to play.” Otherwise, I think it’s very neglected. If this were in Austria, it would be paradise, said Istvan Havasi.
According to others, the boating lake is still a good option for relaxing in the afternoon. Zoe Baxi also sees many people going out to exercise.
“We used to come with our friends, but now it’s just the two of us. If the weather is nice and we all have time, we eat and talk. Anyway, we don’t go out much, but it’s good and quiet,” said Zoe Baxi.
Dominic Virag believes that Lake Csó is a good option for families with young children. He put it this way: I can't help but recommend them to look in sometimes.
“Once or twice a month, I usually go for a short walk, I go for a walk in nature, that’s all I usually do, and maybe I’ll have something at the buffet. I usually go out with my partner to unwind a little bit from the daily grind,” said Viraj Dominic.
The majority of the older age group choose the lakeside for an afternoon picnic, but some organize a joint program with their grandchildren.
“This playground is very good for children, that's why I'm here now with my grandchildren,” we learn from Sandorni Denis.
