The Diablo II Technical Alpha Test Resurrected will begin today, and those who will be invited to test will begin at 4 PM. Here registered And it successfully mapped out (more details on alpha here). To the delight, major US game cards have taken action as well, with GameSpot and US IGN both sharing a video showing Resurrected.

GameSpot’s 5-minute video is interesting because it combines original D2 graphics with beautiful version. IGN simply offered the first 16 minutes of zero-lash gameplay, and a magical tournament. As we can see, Resurrected has the same graphic style as ARPG, released in 2000, so characters and abilities are easily recognizable, but the models and animations (and of course the resolution) are much more detailed. It’s especially amazing how sophisticated the effects of light are, and it’s just amazing because they color the environment.

Diablo II Resurrected will be released sometime this year for PC, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The first alpha test will be done on a computer, after which there will be another test which will make the multiplayer game mode to experience. Resurrected changes almost nothing in the gameplay, although it does make some things a lot more comfortable, you can read more about this here.
