Three-day sports and science in Fehervár

Sekesevrevar hosts the National Sports Science Congress. During the three-day meeting, experts working in the field will discuss the scientific questions that determine the future of local sports.

Now in the twenty-first century. For the first time, the Hungarian Sports Sciences Federation has launched the National Sports Sciences Congress, which this time will be held in Szekesfehervár. During the three-day conference, professionals working in the field can be informed within more than 150 thematic presentations.

The conference will be held at the Vihervár Campus of Úbuda University. At the opening ceremony held on Wednesday at Hemmer's house, those present were welcomed by Gjuruk Gjuruk, Dean of the Technical College of Alba Regia, who emphasized that the institution is trying to formulate answers to the challenges of the city, the region and the national economy.

In the past 14 years, the Hungarian government has created such a foundation for Hungarian sports that no one can feel any deficiency – this was already mentioned by Adam Schmidt, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense for Sports, in his welcome speech, who added that constant renewal and support of professionals are important.

It was also the opening event of the conference, interested parties “Factors affecting the performance of elite athletes – Paris 2024” They were able to participate in a professional sports conference and, in parallel, free examinations were carried out in the examination truck of the Universal Health Protection Screening Program of Hungary in Alba Plaza. Depending on pre-registration, participants can take advantage of approximately forty offers.
