In the last couple of years, there has been a lot of talk about World Cup qualifiers, as well as next year’s Olympic Games. In many ways, we have been preparing for this global competition for a long time. I hope that all this talk will be measured on the pitch during the tournament, and that we can travel to the World Cup confidently and as a united team. We prepare like any other time. We also watch the news about the Montenegrin national team, but until the important group match, we only care about ourselves, as we have been doing until now.
Catherine Klugeber
In the national team, it is very important to perform well and be in good shape mentally and physically. So it was important for us to be able to play matches at our club after the difficult start, which will help us get out of the hole, not bring frustration here with us, and start preparing for the World Cup here with confidence, and then our performance in the tournament itself will rise.
Vladimir Golovin
Our situation is certainly not hopeless. After the draw, we already started preparing to face our opponents. We are a group and a branch that gives us hope that we can achieve the goal set by the presidency. We thank you for the trust and support we receive from the association. The professional staff and girls also know our goal, we want to solve all the tasks in front of us together as one team. After the first two matches, which are expected to be easier and boost self-confidence, a win over Montenegro will have special significance in terms of the atmosphere of the tournament. For Montenegro to reach the quarter-finals, we must win two matches against the Croats in the semi-finals.
