Porsche resurrects Sally Carrera from the fairy tale “Verdák” in a unique 911 “personality”, which it calls the Sally Special. The public can watch the sports car live at this year’s Monterey Car Week. By the way, this is not the first time the car has been embodied from the cartoon: previously, a variant of the 996 was made that also matches the proportions, and it can be said that the current car is more than honorable.

To create the Sally Special, Porsche also called in members of the original Verdák’s creative team. In the movie, the design of the Sally Carrera corresponds to the 2002996911 model, but now that was just the inspiration, the special rendering is based on the current 992911 Carrera GTS.

The car’s twin-turbocharged 3-liter six-cylinder boxer engine produces 473 hp and 569 Nm, transmitted to the wheels by a seven-speed manual transmission. This model is so true to the animation that the car tattoo becomes visible when the wing is opened. The Sally Special has rims 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the rear.

The luxurious Sally Blue Metallic color is also dominant in the car’s interior, appearing on the dashboard, center console and door upholstery. The designers used a special fabric covering in a checkered pattern interspersed with blue accents on some parts of the seats and doors.
There are many logos and references on the car: for example, the Sally Carrera signature can be seen on the B-pillar, while the Verdák logo appears not only on the valve covers but also on the doors and on the sides of the seats. The mode button next to the steering wheel reads “Ka-Chow! Mode” and on the passenger side of the dashboard is a small graphic of Sally Carrera.

Porsche will auction the car, and the proceeds will go to charity. The auction winner will do well, receiving a matching watch, car cover and an extra set of wheels along with his brand new unique vehicle. In addition, the book containing the drawings of Verdák’s production designer, Bob Polly, may also be owned by him.
