Ford will expand its range with seven new electric models in just two years. It is already known that three of these will be crossovers and four will be pickups – it is true that the latter can be interpreted as two variants of two types.
Although the image above shows a shadow of nine cars, the Mustang Mach-E as well as the E-Transit have been revealed before. However, even the smallest crossover, the Puma, will be entirely electric, which we can expect by 2024. Also in that year, we got the sports crossover, which has not yet been named. Both are preceded by a mid-size SUV with a range of up to 500 km – at least according to the WLTP cycle. This could be revealed as early as this year, but distribution will begin next year.
The first truck entrants will also come in 2023: Transit Custom and Tourneo Custom. The first will be the freight version, and the last the passenger version, as we are accustomed to. And in 2024, the range will be complemented by Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier models.
Exact dates, specifications and prices are not yet known. For now, we can only make sure that these seven novelties are part of the European agenda. It is doubtful that it will reach other markets as well.
