Tourists do not have to walk much in these European cities

The online language school Preply has ranked the continent’s popular travel destinations according to the distance between the most popular attractions.

Tourists usually like to walk while sightseeing, as this way they can see more of the buildings and the life and culture of the locals. However, walking all day can be very tiring at times.

the bripley The online language school has prepared an interesting compilation that famous European tourists need to walk at least in order to visit the five most important sights. They examined the distances between the five most popular attractions, how long it takes to cover those distances and the number of steps required based on an average step length of 0.8 metres. In fact, they even counted calorie consumption, explains the compilation reiserreporter.de.

Accordingly, Seville has become the “most pedestrian-friendly” city in Europe. The most famous attractions of the Andalusian capital, such as the Royal Alcazar, the Cathedral, and the Plaza de España, are particularly close to each other, so little time is required on foot.
