According to information from Nemzeti Sport, several Hungarian clubs are interested in signing 22-year-old Thibaud Verlinden, a Belgian footballer whose contract with DAC from Dunaszerdahely is expiring.
Thibaud Verlinden signed a contract with DAC last year, but it is likely that he will start the new season in Hungary, at NB I |
“There is already interest from Hungary in Thibaud Verlinden, with three clubs also applying for the winger, whose contract with the DAC expires at the end of June. – The player’s representative confirmed the news to the National Sports Authority, Leventy Schultz. – He had a good spring in the Slovak First Division, contributing goals and helping the Dunaszerda locals fight for the right to start in the international cup. He would like to sign for Hungary, but his future has not yet been decided, because he is under criticism in the DAC, and the club has already offered him a new contract.”
The 22-year-old Ferlinden, who also played for Belgium’s national teams (between U-15 and U-19), scored for Donaszerdahl last September from Dutch side Fortuna Sittard, scoring one goal and two assists in 16 DAC matches.
Levente Schultz did not want to name interested NB I clubs, saying that could be determined by the end of next week as the winger would continue.
