Transparent and cheap TVs can come

2024 is off to a strong start, at least when it comes to big-screen consumer electronics. At the year’s most important tech show, CES, both LG and Samsung showed off their own transparent TVs, drawing attention to themselves.

The new display contains uniformly distributed titanium dioxide nanoparticles with a diameter of 100 nanometers, which is equivalent to the thickness/thinness of a human hair. All this is therefore cheaper, but above all, it is also practical. It has been tested in cold, hot and extreme weather conditions. Due to its durability, it can be used as a display in public places, but it cannot be ruled out that the technology will one day move to homes as well.
