- After another CONCACAF Gold Cup title, Mexico will play a friendly match against Australia at AT&T Stadium. The two teams have met five times in recent years, and the Australian team won 2-0 in the previous meeting in 2001. Mexico is heading to this confrontation after its historic victory in the Gold Cup, having won five out of six matches and lifted the cup in California in July. They are in particularly good form and this will be a festive and rewarding match for the fans. Although Australia made a significant improvement under Graham Arnold, it would all be few and far between and Mexico would win easily!
