Angry viewers are sorry that the popular series is leaving at the end of January, but the good news is that it won't be gone forever, as it will return sometime in early spring to air the rest of the series.
TV2 began showing the first season of the Turkish series Brothers on October 14, 2022, then the second season began on January 20, 2023, followed by the third season on August 8. Till now, the channel has never stopped, but now the channel is breaking this tradition. Testvérek will be on screen until the end of January, after which it will be on hiatus for an indefinite period, and will be replaced by another Turkish series, Gülcemal.
The story takes place in the city of Bursa. The hero of the story is Guljamal, a rich man who killed his father and was cursed by his mother. The complex drama begins 30 years ago and affects a man's entire life until he meets the beautiful and mysterious Diva. The series features Murat Onalmis, known from the Land of Hope, and Meles Sezin, who was seen in the film Betrayal.
Although the entire series only consists of 13 episodes, each episode is two hours long, meaning TV2 will be able to broadcast the series in approximately 40 episodes, as they have to chop it up to be able to air it in the afternoon slots. For this reason, the events of Gulgamal may end sometime in the last third of March, and then the Brotherhood may return.
