Two competitions and twenty-three medals – Veszprém Taekwon-do SE excels

Veszprém Taekwon-do SE competitors performed excellently in the recently organized competitions: they won a total of twenty-three medals.

Recently, there were two ITF taekwondo competitions, where competitors from Veszprém Taekwon-do SE were also represented. At the International Taekwondo Open “Spirit” competition held in Hatvan, 398 athletes from 7 countries participated in tatami.

Veszprem Taekwon-do SE results:

Gergő Kovács – Fitness 1st place, Fighting 3rd place
Gergő Győri – Artistic break for first place
Végh Kendra – Form exercise 1st, Fighting 3rd
Balázs Győri – Fighting for second place
Aaron Mellinger – Fighting for second place
Gartner Elisabet – Fighting 3rd Place, Exercise Model 3rd Place
Ákos Szabó – Form exercise 3rd place
Levente Terjeki – fighting for third place

Budapest III. 12 children from the Batory group from Veszprém participated in the Zen Power Taekwon-do Kids competition, where they won 1 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze medals.

In the 7-9 age group, Zselecki Gyuri, Pani Knollmeier, Emsy Halek, Mimi Kovacs, Vivian Chimermann and Marton Schalbert won silver medals, and Leventi Bors won bronze medals.

Among the 10-12 year olds, Adam Torbuck managed to stand on the highest step of the podium. Sarah Horvath and Vince Weinber won silver medals, and Lisa Velvoldi and Bertalan Tokes won bronze medals in their categories.
