Two medals and two points scoring places are our results at the European Youth Championships

Our young judokas finished with two bronze medals and 5th and 7th places in the individual competitions of the European Age Group Championships in Sofia.

On the final day of individual competition on Saturday, we were able to watch two Hungarian youngsters perform at the European Junior Juggling Championships in the Bulgarian capital. Zouza Sarkozy (Miskolesi VSC) and Georgina Krobel (Ippon Judo Tatabania) was also interested in the girls' 70kg category. After her opening win over Germany's Mia Manukyan, Sarkozy was eliminated by Croatia's Nika Slaček in the second round. Kruppel lost in the 32nd place to Russia's Zlata Sopronenko, and then in the consolation match to Turkey's Tuana Gulinay, her continental competition was also over.

In the previous competition days, our team won two medals:

Konnik Butund (Tatabányai SC) managed to stand on the third step of the podium between 55 kilograms, and Janka Jüttner (Budaörsi SC) between 52 kilograms.

In addition, Hungarian competitors scored two additional points: Iron Mira (52 kg; UTI) V, Little Levente (60 kg; ing of Lędzi) was seventh.

For comparison, a year ago, our team won two silver medals, 5th and 7th places, thus finishing the European Championship in 11th place overall after the individual competitions.

On Sunday, the European Youth Championship program concludes with the mixed teams competition. Hungarian band A Pence Gallo (60 kg), Little Levinty (60 kg), Nandor Horvath (81 kg), Small zabolcs (81 kg), Abel the carriage driver (+81 kg), Little Victoria (48 kg), Hey Phaedra (63 kg), Zouza Sarkozy (+63 kg), Georgina Krobel (+63 kg) is included in the formula.
