a Ubisoft Significantly higher pace in recent years. While the 2010s were marked by the emergence of many AAA-rated games each year, their number has decreased dramatically in recent times. Of course, on the one hand, the coronavirus period that we have left behind recently plays a role in this, and on the other hand, there are more and more serious issues with the quality of each of their games.

This, of course, does not mean that the largest French brand has closed completely, in fact. Next year, that is, until April 2022, we can expect several AAA-rated games to be released. This was discussed during the presentation of their 2020-2021 financial report.

Reports show that until March 31, 2022, we can count on Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six: Parasite and The Division Heartland, as well as Riders Republic, Roller Champions and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The exact dates aren’t talked about now, but some of these games are expected to continue to debut in 2021, while others will only debut in the spring of 2022.

The list is missing a game that was made years ago, but fans were waiting in vain not only for a release, but for any useful information about it. These are Skull and Bones, which aren’t even planned for the new fiscal year. This means it definitely won’t appear before April 2022, if it ever could.

Important information about Ubisoft is that the publisher will significantly restructure its business model for the coming years. This means that they are increasingly planning to rely on AAA rated games, which will gradually be replaced by high-quality free games that will be launched as a kind of service.

Before anyone started speculating that Ubisoft would shut down in the future with series like Tom Clancy Games or Assassin’s Creed, the publisher’s chief analyst, Shawn Lama | Poured clear water into the glass. The new plan does not mean that free games will replace the paid AAA games in the publisher panel, but it will accompany more and more of these games, which means that the product range will be expanded further. ■
