F1 Manager 2024 has been highly anticipated. But will it be able to wow the series' loyal fans?

Many Formula 1 fans have been eagerly awaiting F1 Manager 2024, and on July 23, 2024, the day finally arrived. F1 Manager 2024 is now available on Steam and has already received 234 reviews shortly after its release. However, these are not all positive reviews, so it is legitimate to wonder whether F1 Manager 2024 will remain in the top spot in the long run, or whether it will suffer a serious crash soon.

F1 Manager 2024 offers racing fans the opportunity to manage their own Formula 1 team and lead it to success. To do this, the player has to make a variety of decisions, plan the strategy of the stable and monitor how the drivers implement his instructions in the races. The game promises to build your own team and introduces a completely new mentality system. In addition, the player faces a dynamic team of artificial intelligence and must make sure that his team is in a good mood. Because it can happen very quickly that a disgruntled driver is lured by a competitor.

Why are F1 Manager 2024 reviews mixed?

These tidbits of information about F1 Manager 2024 look very promising. So why does the game currently only have a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam? According to some reviews, not much has changed compared to the previous two installments. The graphics aren’t much better, and the team management options don’t show any significant improvement either.

Some have also criticized the racing car driving animations, with the cars said to look like they're moving on rails. The game also currently has a number of bugs, such as still images popping up out of nowhere. The old soft-lock issue from previous games is also present in this one.

But, of course, many players also find words of praise for F1 Manager 2024. In general, it can be a lot of fun for all racing fans, as the positive reviews show. SteamDB shows that in the first 24 hours, 12,066 players indulged in the fun of Formula 1. It is difficult to predict at the moment whether F1 Manager 2024 will end up on the highest step of the podium or will suffer a direct collision. Currently, 73.38% of reviews on Steam are positive. Let's hope for the best and stick with F1 Manager 2024.
