The Security Service of Ukraine also sent CNN a video of the attack. The recording shows the footage taken by the drone. Sea Baby can deliver up to 850 kilograms of explosives to one of the bridge’s concrete pillars. The service sources also handed over two CCTV recordings to CNN.

“We are working on a number of new interesting operations, including in the waters of the Black Sea. I promise, it will be exciting, especially for our enemies,” Maljuk told the newspaper.

Malyuk also claimed responsibility for the first Ukrainian attack on the bridge in October 2022, but gave no details. The head of the Security Service of Ukraine also said of the July attack that it was the result of several months of preparations, which were carried out jointly with the Ukrainian Navy and led by Oleksiy Nezbaba, the chief of the armed forces’ navy. Ukraine forces.

“We were fully focused on the operation. The past few days have been very tense. When the explosion happened, we were very happy and started congratulating each other. It was a very emotional moment for all of us and a pledge of our victory, which is sure to come soon,” said the security chief. .

According to Malyuk, these UAVs are being manufactured in an underground production facility on the territory of Ukraine.
