Ukrainian oligarchs leave the country en masse with their own planes

Ukrainian oligarchs and business leaders are leaving the country respectively amid Ukraine-Russia tensions.

Ukrainian Ukrainian Pravda was informed that only about 20 flights left the country yesterday, most of them on a private plane of a businessman or oligarch.

to knowSeveral dominant Ukrainian businessmen have left the country, including Rinat Akhmetov and Boris Kolishnikov, but the Ukrainian newspaper reported that opposition MP and millionaire Igor Abramovich is set to leave after it was revealed that he had booked a private jet for 50 people.

The Ukrainian publication wrote that several opposition politicians were offered the opportunity to leave, and that the businessman’s relatives and some business partners would fly from Kiev to Vienna on a private plane operated by Abramovich.

Several local newspapers and portals reported that the airspace over Ukraine will be emptied from Monday after Western insurers said they could not guarantee flight safety, so most airlines would be forced to bypass the country.
