All we know about the King's current condition is that he began outpatient treatment for an unknown type of cancer just over two weeks ago, and at yesterday's meeting he appeared to be doing very well. There is currently no information about further progress in treatment, but the fact that he is returning to his official duties so quickly is certainly a good sign.
At Buckingham Palace, Rishi Sunak told the King that the whole country was behind him.
