The White House National Security Adviser announced on Friday that the United States will send another package of military aid to Ukraine.
The $125 million shipment includes Stinger missiles, 105mm and 155mm artillery shells, which are essential for the battlefield, and anti-tank missiles, John Kirby told reporters at a news conference in Washington.
In response to a question, the White House official said that representatives of the US government are discussing the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region on Russian territory with the Ukrainian side in order to get a full picture of Ukrainian intentions and what exactly is going on.
At the same time, he stressed that there is no change in the US decision announced last May, according to which the Washington government agreed to the Ukrainian Armed Forces deploying weapons provided by the United States on Russian territory in a limited manner, in areas close to the border, if this is part of Ukraine's self-defense activities.
