VED – Story Trailer Arrived | Game board

VED will be a side-scrolling platformer, with RPG elements and exceptionally beautiful visuals that can compete with the greats of watercolor painting. The game will arrive sometime in 2024.

The last time you read about a VED with us was back in 2017, when the game was still one of the contestants in the Square Enix Collective campaign. According to the signs, Square has not incubated the project, with Fulqrum Publishing already mentioned as a publisher in the trailer, which has also taken the incredibly promising New Arc Line under its wing.

In VED, we will play the role of Cyrus, a young hero who has come to Micropolis in the hope of a new life. While wandering around the city, he accidentally discovers his ability to move between worlds. The strange other world we will find ourselves in is filled with floating islands and even strange creatures. There is no doubt that we want to discover the secret of our ability, which also includes discovering the magical world.

In addition to the turn-based combat system, we also get an interactive story, as promised – we’ve heard this so many times, it’s worth taking it with reservations – every decision we make will matter.

The game will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC sometime in 2024. Naturally, backwards compatibility for current generation consoles allows us to enjoy this beautiful and unique adventure not only on our old devices.
