We already know almost all the important features of the new bendable mobile phones from Samsung, but now, based on the latest leaks, we tried to briefly summarize the innovations that will be compared to the previous generation.
Key innovations of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6:
- Naturally, we get the mandatory annual hardware update, so the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor is added to the phone.
- This will be Samsung's lightest and thinnest foldable phone yet, measuring 12.1mm thick when folded and weighing 239g (its predecessor was 13.4mm and 253g).
- The design will be updated, the frame will be completely flat, the edges will be sharper, the shape will be more angular, and the aspect ratio will be less stretched.
- The phone is equipped with the new Slim Flex Hinge, and we get what is called the Armor Aluminium frame.
- The IP48 rating could also be a big innovation, meaning water resistance remains, and from now on the phone will also be dust resistant to a limited extent.
- The new generation of OLED displays is capable of a brightness of 2600 nits.

Key innovations of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6:
- Here too we get the obligatory annual hardware update: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor has been added to the phone.
- Likewise, the design is updated (flatter frames, sharper edges, etc.)
- New flexible slim hinges and armored aluminum frame.
- When folded, the phone could be at least 0.2mm thinner than its predecessor, while other dimensions remain unchanged.
- The battery capacity increases to 4000 mAh.
- The Flip 6 could also get an IP48 certification, which means that in addition to water resistance, the phone will now also have limited dust resistance.
- The 12MP main camera on the back has been replaced with a 50MP one (the 12MP front and 10MP front-facing modules remain unchanged).
- This could be the first phone in the Flip series to get vapor chamber cooling for better heat dissipation.
- Galaxy AI Features
The new phones will be introduced on July 10, so you won't have to wait long for official details.
