Hi, what are you looking for?

Economy

We waited in vain for Jason Statham, but the new trailer carried the show even without him.

The Caravelle's LED headlights are connected by a black strip.

Both the Transporter and Caravelle can be ordered in the off-road PanAmericana version, which means higher ground clearance, unpolished plastic protection elements that run around the body and stunning light-alloy wheels up to 19 inches in length. But

There won't be a California “roof tent” version of camping this time around.

From the carrier, because it has become a Transit Custom franchise (and it is from Multivan for that reason).

The new Transporter gets the same 12-inch digital instrument cluster and 13-inch touchscreen infotainment display as the Ford Transit Custom, but even the plastic trim elements are the same in both vehicles, save for the steering wheel, which thankfully has regular buttons, not capacitive surfaces. The positive result of adopting Ford’s technology is undoubtedly that

The volume should not be adjusted using the slider at the bottom of the screen, but rather using a regular rotary button.

Carsten Intra, CEO of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, spoke about this small part with great enthusiasm at the presentation as if it were the biggest innovation in the car. USB-A and USB-C connectors are part of the standard equipment, and a 230-volt socket (which can deliver 2.3 kW) can be ordered as an option. Standard equipment also includes LED headlights and taillights, an infotainment system (DAB+, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, with online services), keyless start, a rain sensor, automatic lane keeping, automatic emergency braking and a road monitoring system.

If the glass roof is also ordered, the Caravelle could be considered a successor to the legendary Samba bus with a little grace.

Unfortunately, climate control is also on the menu, but the ventilation of the rear row (in the Combi and Caravelle) is not here, but above the driver's head, on the roof. Finally, the handbrake has become electric, and its button has been placed on the dashboard, freeing up space in the footwell, allowing (depending on the design and division) access to the rear from the front. There is no longer a dual-clutch DSG gearbox, and the traditional eight-speed automatic selector lever is a paddle shifter mounted on the steering column, but the manual gear lever is still located on the center console, and it is high enough to reach it.
