Athletes use rainbow colored shoelaces to draw attention to the good cause. The aim of the current campaign is to raise awareness of the need for structural and cultural change. The association that launched the campaign, Stonewall, is also doing lmbt-themed outreach in clubs. This is the sixth year that the campaign has been launched.
The British Rugby League has already changed its logo to a rainbow in the spirit of the stands, as have many Premier League teams, such as Tottenham.
