It’s almost the end of the year — and the end of time for many movies on the Big Red Streaming Monolith, as Netflix recently announced their departure for December.
Unfortunately, the streaming service must be in a bad mood this holiday season as the list of movies and TV shows leaving next month is full of high-profile names. Fans of the “Sing” movies will be in for a blue Christmas when the star-studded sequel to Big Red Streaming Monolith comes out in mid-December, followed by “Kung Fu Panda” at the end of the month. And speaking of the holidays, those who adore the classic Christmas song “Love Actual” will need to see its grand romantic gestures before it actually disappears. Sound terrifying? Well, if you want real horror, you’ll want to watch Jaws and Us sooner rather than later before Netflix kills them off, along with action favorites like Mission Impossible and the Crank movies.
It’s Oscar season — and as Netflix loads up on new awards season nominees, past winners like “American Beauty,” “Gladiator,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “Lost in Translation” and more will be like “La La Land” winning Best Picture And awkwardly walking out of the Netflix stage.And while everyone is loving Taylor Swift right now, Netflix is going in the opposite direction, ditching her concert film “Reputation”… which was, oddly enough, a Netflix original that you won’t soon be able to Watch it elsewhere.For the hundredth time: Don’t trust anything to stay on your streaming service forever — even once-loved shows and movies.
