The new feature is still in development and not currently available to beta testers, but a preview screenshot of it is already available. Depending on the image, the custom page or setting will contain the images that users use to create their avatar. While creating images using Meta AI, users need to prepare their profile picture and then type “Imagine Me” to request their avatar to be created.

The AI-generated image is displayed as a 3D animated character that resembles the user's appearance but enriched with additional details. If users want to delete their profile pictures or set a new one, they can do so through Meta AI settings.

For privacy, when users use the AI command in other conversations, Meta AI will not read the chats, only the commands. This feature will be optional so users can decide whether they want to use it. More information is expected when the AI avatar feature becomes available to beta testers.
