For newer processors, the Microsoft Store may not work.
Windows 10 still manages to surprise, despite the years of savings made by Microsoft. The company just released Unusual update For the latest update 21H2, or Windows 10 November 2021, after installation fails to install and update software in the Microsoft Store after installing KB5011831 or later.
This phenomenon may occur on processors that support Intel Control-flow Enforcement Technology (CET) and an AMD equivalent called Shadow Stack, specifically the 11th and 12th generation Intel Core processors and AMD Ryzen 5000/6000. These technologies attempt to make it more difficult to exploit certain types of vulnerabilities at the hardware level.
You may be able to resolve the issue indicated by error code 0xC002001B by installing the KB5015020 patch if you do not recommend installing Windows Update. It can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
