Budapest – Experts suggest you might want to wait for the October 12 update.
Microsoft made its new operating system available earlier than planned. Initial errors have already been reported by users.
Windows 11 can now be installed by anyone whose hardware is compatible with the software. As 24.hu writes, installation can be done in three ways:
- With Windows 11 installation guide
- By creating Windows 11 installation media
- Or by downloading a Windows 11 image (ISO).
All three options are available on Microsoft’s official website, but the company recommends that you start upgrading to Windows 10 when you receive a notification through Windows Update that your PC is ready to upgrade.
You may want to wait for the October 12 update, according to 24.hu, users have already started reporting the first bugs in the new OS. This includes that the system has compatibility issues with Intel Killer network drivers. In practice, this means that the Internet runs slower, and websites run with longer response times. But many pointed out that even streaming services can only stream low-resolution content.
The October 12 cumulative update seeks to fix these bugs.
