Wish | Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 weapons leaked - Activision made a huge mistake

The mobile version contained a lot of information.

As we previously reportedOver the weekend, the Call of Duty Mobile development team made a huge mistake. In the semi-final, alpha version of the mobile game Warzone, data miners have found plenty of clues about this year’s titles and the future as well. However, in addition to the 2024 tracks, perhaps more significant text files appeared on Sunday, related to Modern Warfare 2, which will be released in October.

Leaked list of upcoming weapons titled 2022!

The current list is as follows:

  • Assault rifle: akilo, kilo53, kilo74, kilo105, mcharlie, mcbravo, M4, scharlie, schotel, falpha, fecho, Aug, STG A3
  • Sniper/shooters rifle: LM-S, SA700, AX-50
  • SMG: Lachmann Sub, alpha57, beta, victor, aviktor, PSDW 50, mpapax, Sakin 9, LMP
  • Guns: Bryson 800, mike1014, mkviktor, Lockwood 725
  • LMGs: RAAL, ahotel, foxtrot, Bruen MK9, ngolf7, rkilo, mkilo3, kilo21
  • Pistols: X12, Revive Pistol, .50 GS, papa220, siwhiskey Launchers: mike203, RPG7, PILA, JOKR, Strela-P

The above list is also the responsibility of RealiityUK, which has leaked the tracks and amassed a Twitter ban in the meantime. The IW9 prefix in the files refers to the studio Infinity Ward, the main development team behind this year’s Call of Duty title. Most weapons may be familiar, such as the AX-50, RAAL LMG, Bruen MK9, M4, or even an AUG. MP5 and MP7 may also return, but they may not be under the usual name.

Activision took action quickly

Some codes have also been revealed, and it looks like the AX-50 will also undergo a small makeover. Currently, the codenames or in-game names for 44 Modern Warfare II weapons have been found in the Warzone Mobile files, which still isn’t the complete list, but might be ideal as a starting point.

It is incomprehensible why the developers have sold so much information in the mobile game Call of Duty, and perhaps they did not expect data miners to pounce on it in seconds. Activision quickly deleted the leaker’s Twitter profile, which needs no more proof than the leaks’ veracity.
