You don’t have to sleep much until the return of the legendary horror series Silent Hill.
It’s been ten long-awaited years since the last full game on Silent Hill, the divisive but not bad Downpour, and fans have been hoping for a revival of the legendary horror series ever since. Then this seemed to come true in 2014, when Konami elegantly announced Silent Hills with the active participation of Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus.
The game was suddenly destroyed by the publisher soon after, after it scandalously kicked dust with the big-name game developer. Moreover, PT, which was an unusual promotion for Silent Hills, was removed from all official platforms – to this day, PS consoles downloaded on it are sold for shocking sums. Since then, there’s been a lot of silence around the series’ house, and even though it’s been lately More and more people are starting to talk about the sequel And it’s remake, nothing and no one has officially confirmed it yet.
Yet, when almost out of the blue, Konami has announced that in a few days it will pour clean water into glass and reveal what the future holds for the Silent Hill series.
Accordingly, Konami will hold a broadcast called Silent Hill Transmission on October 19, Hungarian time at 11:00 PM, during which they will likely present the latest piece or parts of the psychological horror game. According to some misty urban legend, there are not one, but at least two Silent Hills in the making in Konami’s witch kitchen — and some might swear that This is a new version of the second part of 2001.
Well, we’ll find out on Wednesday when Silent Hill returns after 10 years – and now hopefully for real -.
