The Szolnok Sportcentrum-Sportiskola team had a great performance on the first day of the National Rowing Championships in Szeged from Thursday to Sunday. As head coach Dezső Molnár told our news portal earlier, they previously counted on 5-6 victories, which at best could reach ten.
Well, we managed to put four in the bag already on the first day, and in addition to that, there were also beautifully shiny silver and bronze medals and points-scoring spots.
Luca Badar made two places in the top four in one person. Áron Kalmár and Goston Pálmai won gold in the young coxswains. The teenage four-pairs rowing unit consisting of Bianca Johasz, Lila Taco, Juliana Pirro and Kinx Zuly also won.
Ajna Kis Csende won the silver medal in the women’s teenage lightweight single sculls competition. In the same age group, the boys’ four-pair rowing unit—consisting of Cornel Palmai, Daniel Dravovich, Nagy, Zalan Müller, and Marton Rekasi—finished with a bronze medal.
