The biggest star in the 26-man squad is Christian Pulisic, who plays for Chelsea, and another 16 players from the list play in Europe.
Since the Americans did not make it to the last tournament in Russia, there is only one player in the team, DeAndre Yedlin, who has World Cup experience.
“We’ve underestimated a bit how much this young squad and the program as a whole have improved. Four years ago, we started building the squad again almost from scratch, and now we’re in the World Cup.” Berhalter male.
The Americans, who have an average age of 25 years and 175 days, will start the World Cup against Wales on November 21, and will also meet the English and Iranians in the group.
The United States, along with Mexico and Canada, will host the next World Cup in 2026.
