Xbox Game Pass: Could a long-awaited game arrive sooner than we thought?!

The Xbox Game Pass title’s global release will be coming to certain regions a day earlier than many expected.

Redfall is coming to Xbox Game Pass a day earlier than many expected in some regions around the world. The co-op vampire slaying game is set to be released in a matter of days. But exactly what day Redfall will be playable will vary by region.

Redfall is a brand new shooter from Arkane Studios, developers of Dishonored and Bethesda, and is set to be one of the biggest new game launches of the first half of 2023.

Having it available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release will only increase the number of instant players for the new IP. Xbox is certainly doing a lot to make Redfall one of the big new exclusives. Moreover, several dedicated Redfall consoles have been released recently.

Redfall’s global release dates were recently announced on the game’s official Twitter page. This way, gamers in every corner of the planet know exactly when they can begin the day one release of the first Xbox Game Pass in May. They also announced that pre-download is now available. What might surprise some players is that the date listed is not exactly what they expected in some regions. Redfall’s May 2nd release date has been set for a while, but in America it looks like fans will be able to start playing on May 1st.

It is worth noting that the game will be released everywhere at exactly the same time. This table just shows when that moment is, depending on the viewer’s time zone. The reason for the surprise is that Arkane Studios’ Redfallt development branch is located in Austin, Texas. So the most obvious thing is that the announced May 2nd release date will be the day the game will be released in that city. However, according to the official release schedule, Austin players will actually be able to start playing the game on May 1st at 7 PM. There certainly won’t be any players complaining about jumping into the vampire wasteland of Redfall a little earlier than they thought.

Redfall has gained a lot of buzz due to its unique concept and because there is always an interest in quality co-op shooters.

However, there was some difficulty with the release date approaching. Namely, it was announced that Redfall will not run at 60fps, at least on initial release. This has them scratching their heads wondering what other issues the game might have when it arrives in May. But given that it’s a Day One Xbox Game Pass title, there’s still no reason why subscribers shouldn’t download it.
