Xiaomi 15 won't charge faster

The Xiaomi 15 series will debut in October, and these flagship phones are said to be the first to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. As the presentation day approaches, more and more information about the handsets is emerging, and making its obligatory rounds on the licensing authorities. Recently, employees of the Chinese company 3C visited the basic model, and the documents prepared after the certification process reveal the charging speed that the phone will support.

According to official documents, the Xiaomi 15 phone will charge at a maximum capacity of 90 watts via cable, which is the same speed as the current model, which means that the leading Chinese company will not offer anything new in this regard.

Let's say that's still twice what Samsung's top model can do (Microphone drops). Unfortunately, the 3C certification document doesn't address wireless charging, but our guess is that it will remain at 50W, just like the 14 model.

The recently revealed certification documents are an excellent opportunity to preview the features that the Xiaomi 15 could debut. According to preliminary information, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.36-inch, 120Hz display with 1.5K resolution. Up to 1400 to shine at night.

The aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is placed under the hood of the mobile phone, depending on the package chosen, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The Xiaomi 15 could be powered by a 4800-4900 mAh battery.

A 50MP primary camera with an OmniVision OV50H sensor can be placed on the back of the device, which is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle and a 50MP 3x telephoto zoom module with a Samsung JN1 sensor.

The selfie camera can have a resolution of up to 32MP. The outer cover of the Xiaomi 15 will meet IP68 certification requirements, which means it will perfectly protect the sensitive components inside the device.
