We've known for some time that Xiaomi is hard at work on a device called the Poco F6 Pro. The manufacturer recently confirmed important details about the smartphone, although its appearance is still pending.
The manufacturer released a public update for the device before its debut. The interesting thing about the whole thing is that the file also includes the code name of the mobile phone, which is nothing but “VermeerThe same moniker has been given to the Redmi K70, and since Xiaomi never uses a particular codename twice, this is clear evidence that the two devices are exactly the same.
This means that the Poco F6 Pro will have the same specifications as the Redmi K70, which means a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery, a 6.67-inch OLED display, and a 50-megapixel primary camera when you purchase the device.
Xiaomi is slowly getting into the habit of rebranding and selling Redmi-branded mobile phones under the Poco brand in international markets. This happened, for example, in the case of the Poco X6 Pro, which was based on the Redmi K70E. There was such a difference because all those who voted for the smartphone had to be content with 67W fast charging instead of the original 90.
