The new laptop from Xiaomi is not only light and clean, but also powerful.
Xiaomi has unveiled a new laptop at its presentation, with which the manufacturer is trying to beat Apple’s MacBook Air. There are many configurations for the 13.3-inch laptop, but the processor is almost always from 12th Gen Intel, and LPDDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD back-end are guaranteed.
A solid start, but we don’t slow down after that, all the specifications of the Xiaomi Book Air 13 are very exciting.
The 13.3-inch screen is an OLED panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 2880 x 1800. For further protection, the manufacturer also protected the screen of the device with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. The latter was also necessary because it could run the Book Air 13, So it can also be used as a tablet, since the panel also handles touch, is Dolby Vision and HDR 500 certified and displays 100% of the DCI-P3 range.
The experience is enhanced by Dolby Atmos speakers. The device isn’t particularly relaxed in terms of connectors, although that doesn’t cause much of a problem these days. On the side of the Xiaomi Book Air 13, there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 3.5mm combo jack.
The laptop is only 12mm thick, weighs around 1.2kg and will be available exclusively in white. A 58.3Wh battery runs in the tiny house, which future owners will be able to charge with the 65W adapter that comes with the motor house. There is no information yet on when the device will be available outside of China.
