The world is on fire with Elden Ring fever once again, thanks to the new expansion Shadow of the Erdtree. Plus, the DLC is now playable in Hungarian!
12.07.2024 – Elden Ring was the Game of the Year 2022 across all media. FromSoftwer’s open-world Soulsike title not only innovated in its structure, but also created a lasting impression with its story and content. Here, of course, it was very important that George R.R. Martin, author of A Song of Fire and Ice, also had the lion’s share of world-building to his credit. I’ve never been a huge fan of Souls-like games, but think about it, if someone who specifically avoided the genre had put hundreds of hours into the game, it wouldn’t just be an inflated balloon, but the developers had really put a high-quality title on the table.
Thankfully, Shadow of the Erdtree delivered exactly what we expected from it. A stylish and massive story, with insanely challenging combat and magical landscapes. In addition to the new abilities, the add-on also brought new weapons, which were naturally more powerful than the base game’s tools. You don’t see a single video online of people taking on the main game challenges in the full DLC set, and they’re doing it with ease. Presumably, this is why the developers nerfed so many gameplay elements just a few weeks after the DLC was released.
But with its weaknesses here and there, the game still brings the same pure, irresistible vibe as when the original game was released, so it’s understandable that so many people are interested in it. And as I mentioned earlier, it’s also worth paying attention to the story, because George R.R. Martin’s imagination is award-winning here as well.
Even in Hungarian!
Actually, you don’t have to worry about English not being your strong point now, as Shadow of the Erdtree has finally received an explanation. Anyone who likes to play FromSoftware games with Hungarian subtitles will have come across the name The_Reaper_CooL, after all we can thank him for translating Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring, so there was no doubt that he would translate the latter’s DLC into Hungarian for the masses as well. – writes A GSP Plus.
From magyaritasok.hu It can now be downloaded. Also the full version which not only has the story but also translations of descriptions of other objects and tools. Good game for that!
