Janos Schunk mentions his former team, 1994 gold medalist Kecskemét, who won the podium as an NB I football junior.
Kecskemét was a mess: a very smart working coach, who is also a bit behind, knows what he needs. On the other hand, the players are well selected, they are hungry for success, they are good tactically, they have combinations, they are obviously They use their minds in fixed positions.” – stated the former captain of the Hungarian national team to MTI in Székesfehérvár.
Csanek added that the fact that the opponents were not ready for them yet contributed somewhat to Alfolds’ success.
In addition to the championship title in 1994, the Germans won silver medals twice in the First Division and three times in the Hungarian Cup under the management of Sisank.
The 76-year-old has not had a team since last year, because although he helped Vác FC stay in NB III, the squad was terminated for financial reasons. As he remembers, after the end of the tournament, he prepared the new training plans, made the preparation plan, and then they started preparing, but after the third practice it suddenly became clear that there was no more. He added that if they had known all this already in May, he would have seen the possibilities in the summer.
“I am very unlucky because wherever I am – for example in Vácott, zdon and Eger – football is on the decline. When I think about it, I need to take care of my spirituality. I completely miss daily tasks and feel good. When I run on Sajó beach I remember I could still do it.” – explained Csank, who lives in zd, who was also a champion with Ferencváros, but also worked in Békéscsaba, Siófok, Székesfehérvár, Győr and Zalaegerszeg, among others.
And he added that he goes to Tarpa once or twice a week to the Sándor István Academy – where he works as an advisor – this is a fixed program, the rest is conditional.
“I don’t go hunting much now, because there’s a problem with pigs: they have plague! I don’t feel like shooting a deer because I’m a pig.” – He talked about his well-known hobby.
He added that occasionally he looks at the forest when he drives through Bükk and gets inspiration, but recently many of his fellow hunters have died, he doesn’t have a region, and he doesn’t like to go to unknown places.
He also regularly visits the Hungarian national football team, and spoke to MTI at the 15th National Football Festival for Veterans. He is one of the ambassadors of the latter, as he has been following the championship series almost from the very beginning, which he considers extremely important.
“The most important thing is for people to feel good in their own skin, to feel young again, but I often tell them to exercise regularly at home too! “Football is the most dangerous sport for the elderly, as the workload changes and people go unnoticed because of their enthusiasm.” He thought.
He stressed that it is advisable to do sports every week – cycling or jogging – and for those who think this way, the gymnastics series created 15 years ago is very positive.
